What we make, and what we will not say

A short note on science, patents, and the difference between a film and a therapy.

The body emits heat. That heat is far-infrared radiation, peaking near 9–10 micrometers. Some ceramic yarns are designed to interact with that band; that is a real textile category, with its own clinical literature and its own trademarks we do not use.

Cells also emit ultra-weak light — biophotons — at levels so low that daylight swamps them by many orders of magnitude. That phenomenon is studied. A wearable that claims to harvest those photons with a filtered mirror and return them as low-level light therapy is a specific invention, patented by others. We do not sell it.

Elytra sells structural-color jewelry and mineral-ceramic knits. We will describe materials, construction, and care. We will not tell you a cuff treats a disease, grows stem cells, or replaces a clinician. If a listing or a reseller says otherwise, they are not speaking for us.
